In group classes we workout in pairs, which is a body shaping weight training workout. The aim is to achieve the biggest possible change in your body in the shortest possible time. The workouts are intense, where we do one exercise for each muscle group.
But what is body shaping and why is it necessary, why is it not enough to just do cardio and lose weight?
You can't get away with weight training if you want a bombshell figure. Even if your goal is to "just" get in shape, because without muscle, your body will just be a mass of shapeless fat and connective tissue hanging off your bones, which will sag with age. Fasting doesn't help, you can lose weight, but it doesn't give you muscles and a shapely body. The solution is body shaping, where we concentrate on all muscle groups. Meticulous work will pay off, with three workouts a week and the right diet, fat will be shed and you'll be able to see your true shape in the mirror. :-)
Functional circuit training:
In this workout, we'll also use the "heavy artillery", using TRX, weights, kettlebells, step bench, rubber bands, in other words, any tool that will make you sweat so much after 10 exercises that you'll be guaranteed to be wriggling out of your clothes. You'll be jumping, skipping and panting loudly as you do the workout in 4 rounds with short rests (1 minute workout, 30 seconds rest).
